Alwaleed Philanthropies “Global” and UN-Habitat partner to support the restoration of Water Supply to Vulnerable Communities in the East of Aleppo

The support from Alwaleed Philanthropies 'Global' is pivotal in repairing Aleppo's water infrastructure, safeguarding the health of more than 500,000 vulnerable humans.

 The project provides sustainable and adequate access to clean water supply in several neighbourhoods through rehabilitation of the main damaged water pipeline and repair of linked household water connections thereby reducing leakage which is currently estimated to be up to 30% in some locations. The Project will also support the community-led improvement of the road space after completion of the excavation works.
