The UNDP-Syria Resilience Programme in 2018 focused on enhancing the self-reliance of Syrians to help them regain control over their basic needs such as housing, livelihoods and access to essential services with a special focus on vulnerable groups of women and persons with disabilities.
In 2018, UNDP’s interventions reached more than 2.8 million crisis-affected persons as total beneficiaries who received improved basic services and contributed to directly support the livelihoods of both IDPs and host community members, through jobs creation, productive assets distribution and vocational training.
